about my journey

Kenya has 18 years of experience as a health promotion specialist that she acquired from the fortune 500 Company where she currently serves as a corporate trainer. She holds a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters in Public Health from San Jose State University.

As an Author, a Toastmaster Speaker, a Certified group Exercise Trainer through AFAA/NASM with an emphasis on stretching and strength training, a Certified Transformational Coach through the Darius Daniels I3Program, and a counselor of the hurting, she is a strong advocate for all those in her realm of influence to be healthy and healed spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally, and financially!

Currently, she leads a group of amazing women and serves on the pastor’s aide committee at Open Hands Christian Center in Elk Grove, Pastor Brandon Darden. She is a mother of 3 amazing adult children, a nana of twin boys, and enjoys living, reading, dancing, golfing, and spending time with all those God brings in this season!

One of her life’s purposes is to encourage and empower everyone her Abba Father entrusts her with to live an Efouria life! A life with eternity in mind!!!

Kenya, who I met when I was a graduate student in San Jose, California was always a bright star who I knew would affect many people with her God given talent of positivity, encouragement, and loyalty. While I did not have many classes with her during my graduate studies and after we graduation, we parted ways, I often wondered where God had placed her in her journey. Seven years went by until I would be blessed by God’s perfect timing as he brought her into my life again. I smiled when I found that God had ordained our paths and journeys meeting years later when we both worked for Anthem Blue Cross to provide health services for the Medi-Cal population. During our work, I witnessed the calm and peace in the manner she would speak during our company meetings and knew that God had a larger plan that brought us together again. I was so grief-stricken yet wanted to re-evaluate my relationship with God and prayed to him to help me and God re-united with Kenya. I spent time speaking with Kenya about my need to speak with God, lean on him, and to heal the past experiences that were keeping me from doing God’s will. Kenya and I spent time weekly in prayer and through Kenya’s guidance and personal teachings found true peace in my life today and have begun to heal the broken parts of my life and Kenya is to me “the light that brightened a dark path, that once caused hesitation and is today an invitation to know God and Jesus as my savior”.

The Site is an E-Commerce site that sells services and products, which include but is not limited to, providing personal and spiritual development coaching, course materials, books, e-books, merchandise and anything else provided by Company and its subsidiaries, partners, and affiliates.

Payments/Cancellation/Refund Policy

You further acknowledge and agree that all compensation paid to Company is non-transferable and non-refundable. You further agree to be financially responsible for any and all purchases made on the Site or through the Company, by you or your representative acting on your behalf.   You may cancel any membership subscription with the Company at any time upon 30 days written notice before the next billing period. Dispute Resolution

In the event the parties are not able to resolve any dispute between them arising out of or concerning these Terms, or any provisions hereof, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise at law or in equity for damages or any other relief, then such dispute shall be resolved solely and finally settled by a competent court of law in the state of California in the County of Stanislaus. In the event there is dispute relating to any provision of the Terms, both Parties acknowledge and agree that neither Party will be entitled to the costs and expenses incurred by the prevailing party in the dispute, including but not limited to, all out-of-pocket costs of collection, court costs, and reasonable attorney fees and expenses. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California without giving effect to the principles of conflict of laws thereof. 

THIS DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROVISION SHALL SURVIVE THE TERMINATION OF THESE TERMS.

Class Action Waiver 

Any lawsuit under these Terms will take place on an individual basis; class lawsuits and class/representative/collective actions are not permitted. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT A PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN EACH’S INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PUTATIVE CLASS, COLLECTIVE AND/ OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, SUCH AS IN THE FORM OF A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION AGAINST THE OTHER. Further, unless both you and Company agree otherwise, the judicial officer may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

Termination/Access Restriction

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in the State of California, County of Stanislaus, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Company as a result of this Agreement or use of the Site. Company’s performance of this Agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Company’s right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by Company with respect to such use. 

If any part of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect. 

Unless otherwise specified herein, this Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and Company with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between the user and Company with respect to the Site. Assignment
